Evac Opal rack Safe handling of dangerous waste

The OPAL system comprises barrels with steel covers that can be color coded. The covers are removed and stored in the OPAL rack. When the barrel is fully loaded with dangerous waste, the cover is replaced and the barrel is ready for transportation to the disposal facility.

The OPAL rack system allows easy handling of dangerous waste and easy cleaning in the “dangerous waste area”. The system complies with SOLAS regulations regarding storage of dangerous waste.

Each compartment can store one UN approved 200 liter barrel for dangerous/hazardous waste. No spare parts, consumables or maintenance are needed to keep the UOR in operation.
